Association of Christian Ministries to the Blind
Statement of Purpose
The ACMB are an informal association of Christian Ministries which agree to work together for each others benefit and toward the common goal of fulfilling the Great Commission among people who are blind and deaf-blind.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible authoritative word of God. We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His eminent personal return in both power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost and that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Braille
Bibles International
Braille Bibles International's mission is to reach and teach the blind
through God's Holy Word and other materials in Braille. We currently
provide Braille Bibles to
blind individuals free of charge. There are three Bibles available: The New King James Version, The
Beginner's Bible and The Children's Bible in 365 Stories.
We have recently assumed the ministries of Christian Services for the Blind and
will begin producing the Decision Magazine in Braille and other services that
they provided.
Care

CARE Ministries Inc., as a channel of Christ's love,
provides information, spiritual support and community resources to people who
are blind or visually impaired.
CARE Ministries helps connect people who are blind with services and materials
that will help them know Christ and grow in their faith. Services include a
toll free number, technical assistance to churches, a library of accessible
materials such as Christian books, devotionals and teaching tapes, and the DAVID
Project, which is an online catalog of accessible Christian materials from
several different organizations.
Lutheran
Blind Mission
Lutheran Blind Mission (LBM) serves people of all faiths with care and
compassion, especially those wanting to strengthen their faith in God the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. LBM provides materials and leadership for
Christian communities among the blind to be planted, leaders to be equipped, and
believers in Christ to be strengthened, so that blind and visually impaired
people may read and share the light of salvation seen through the cross of
Jesus! LBM provides Braille, large-type and audiocassette magazines and
devotional materials, which are available free of charge through its large
lending library. Since one of the biggest problems among blind people is
illiteracy, LBM offers a Christian curriculum to teach people how to read
Braille. LBM has founded the Christian Blind Institute-a faith-based
correspondence school to train blind people to be Christian leaders. LBM also
sponsors outreach centers, where blind people share God's compassion with one
another. LBM is an independent organization affiliated with The Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod, a Christian denomination with a rich heritage of reaching
out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Tape Ministries NW is a non-profit library of Christian books on tape, loaned free of charge to people who are blind, visually impaired, and physically or developmentally disabled. Our goal is to share the gospel and the pure joy of reading through books that inspire, entertain, and provide encouragement, comfort, and hope. Our books, including the daily devotional Our Daily Bread, are mailed to patrons in their homes.
